My Mideast Punchlines: A couple of old chestnuts

Tahrir Square seems to be a dangerous place to be if you’re a woman. According to reports, at least three women have been gang raped, while hundreds of other have been been sexually assaulted. Meanwhile, pro-Islamists were videoed pledging to burn Christians.

Egyptian media reports that Mohamed Morsi secretly sought to replace top army chief Abdel Fatah al-Sisi. Unfortunately for the ex-president, Al-Sisi learned of the plan.
