My Mideast Punchlines: aux barricades, mes amies…..

To get a better sense of French anti-Semitism, Israeli journalist Zvika Klein donned a skullcap for 10 Hours of Walking Around Paris as a Jew. (click the link)

Small FistMerde! This guy’s got some cojones. But then he is an Israeli – and Israelis aren’t renowned for being scared rabbits, which is more than can be said for the unfortunate Jews of Europe. But then who can blame them? It comes with the territory of being a minority, especially a minority that continues to suffer the oldest hatred. This used to be the mantle of the far right. Now it is the liberal-left and Islamo-fascists who have joined forces to make life uncomfortable, and sometimes downright dangerous, for people of the Mosaic faith. Aux barricades, mes amies! Well, if it gets too hairy, there’s always Israel. The problem is, once you get there, you have to man the barricades again. Been there, seen it, got the T-shirt. Now, I wonder how safe it would be to live on a lovely island in the south Pacific. How about Tahiti? Oh, dear, that’s French, isn’t it. Now, let me think. Yes, I’ve got it; that place with the name of a Christian festival. Easter Island! Nothing there but a bunch of  harmless statues, and who on earth would want to blow them up? Answers on a postcard, please, to: City Hall, Raqqa, northern Syria. The winner will be invited to attend beheadings and other such delectations. And don’t, whatever you do, miss the fire-eaters.
